[COLLABORATIVE DESIGN ] TASK 4

INSTRUCTIONS :

TASK 4

This the final week where we presented our sculpture. we worked on it from week 7 to week 8. during week 7 we did the sclupture using rods and wood from the carpenter workshop just beneath design studio/photo studio E1.01

Week 7 mostly focuses on the structure and how to make bob (the name of the sculpture) stand without wobbling. I supply some of the cardboard from my apartment and we later start to fill him up with cardboard to make what seem to be a "sturdy bone".

We then cover it up with tracing paper to make the muscles for bob. and started to work on his fingers, face and other things. we have to cover it up twice later and made adjustments again because the muscles and cardboard is putting a weight on him, so we put a broom stick on his back to make him steady and cover it up with tracing paper again.

The process for making the stucture perfect more than a week 7 needed, we also did a the globe with an unused umbrella. eventually we made it in friday on week 8 and started on decorating on bob. The concept of graffiti came on sunday/saturday where we thought that spray painting him symbolizes vandalism and we went with that route.

We encountered a problem before the due date because the baloons keep popping and unfortunately we have to stay overnight until 3AM (i left at 11pm) but we finally did it and present the whole thing to the class.

Reflection :

and we're done. our final week, this took alot of time and effort and im glad it won but i had more extra week to work it off. but unfortunately i only did the extra work after week 9 before it was presented in Sunway Pyramid due to me having to work on my Major Project. 

This project was quite the hard work and tiring but im glad we had fun with it.
