VIDEO AND SOUND PRODUCTION [ FINAL PROJECT ]

 

In the final project, we have to make a stop motion with a given world issue topic. but first, Mr Martin requires us to watch a stopmotion. honestly, i have watched some stopmotion before and i know it requires hardwork and skill.

I watched another one that used paper or cardboard, because im not good at shaping things with clay, and this one is quite intresting to me and funny

And then i remember theres that one local stopmotion i always watch back in 2011/2012 in my old laptop so i search it because i forgot the name and finally found it. I used to play this a lot when i was young because it's so cool and fun, it's not animation but it's still stopmotion that made me happy and nostalgic.

By the next week, Mr Martin has asked us what type of stopmotion i want. I was really in a creative block due to the overloaded work in this semester. I come up with a prototype proposal but i changed the whole plot later

I skipped about 2 weeks of preparing because i HAVE NO IDEA what i should do, my brain just doesn't work but i try to ask my friend for some ideas and then came this idea about dead bird eating trash. because one of the given theme is " if you don't pick up, they will " with a picture of a dead duck with a lot of plastic in their stomach. so i remake my storyboard.

i dont have that much materials, let alone my cutting skills are utterly trash but here is the test shot i did. I bought a new phone because i think using my fujifilm camera is too much work. i used an app called stop motion studio 

in this test shot, i have no background so i used my floor. and i realized that i at least need something to hold my phone stable. and my cardboard bird is small so i have to remake it.

i can't really think of a background so i use plain white as the background. all i need is the trash tbh
