GAME ART [PROJECT 1]

 

In the first week we have to decide what kind of game art we are doing. My game art is related to my environment art so i have 2 ideas in mind

after that i had time to think and choose. since i'll be doing environment too i will choose something that isnt human and still have the main character visible, while survival horror games are usually fun, you cant really see the main character unless it's a cutscene so i had my 2nd idea for the go along with how i wanted the characters to be

Sky and Journey is a very calming game and i love how the mood and the set is. it's so simple yet eye-catching. i started to sketch out the main character with a different and similar range. i want it to be like the child in Sky and MC in Journey

i ended up choosing the butterfly and bird, even though i cancelled using the bird companion but i have to make some adjustments and comparisons.

i continue on to finish the rest of the character. i unfortunately didnt do the enemy but i did another 3-4 gods figure and their concept

i finish the first draft although i need to render the final image but i intended to do that as well as the character sheet. though, i unfortunately have to cancel out the 4th guardian due to time and idea
