Vehicle & Props Design [EXERCISE]

INSTRUCTIONS :

EXERCISES

we are tasked to practice to draw some objects and make a break down of it, after that we are required to do a breakdown the vehicles too, later we will try color using gradient map and also texturing.

we started off with object breakdown, determine the angle and position using x y methods

after that, i did another but im breaking it down using lines to determine the shape.

this method will be used when im working on vehicles part.
for the vehicles it's kinda similar, using squares first and then somethinh similar to the shape of the car? i think thats what i catch from this exercises. i use a 1920s car as advised but also a modern one, and its from my favorite artist's old album

i also did a similar thing with other few transportations or vehicles such as boat, submarine, jet, etc. so not only i learn about vehicle breakdown from the exercises but also prespectives of these vehicles

i continue the exercise to the next step, is to choose or make a vechicle and add color and also texturing. i decided to use one of the prototype of a project 1 vehicle im working on since its already a bit grayscaled

i color it using one of the tones i have from clip studio paint, i have a lot of presets but this one is my favorite. I continue myself to work on the texturing for the prototype vehicle, it doesnt really look that bad honestly

REFLECTION :

Experience :
learning this is quite fun, i think im open to the knowledge of making vehicles, im not exactly good at it but practicing prespective is cool and learning to make vehicles like jet, cars, etc with lines and squares. so it's not just simple

Observation :
prespective. again, its always important to make the prespective make sense.

Findings :
i find myself looking for objects with better angle, it's usually 3/4. it has a better view for both object and vehicles
