Character Design [TASK 3]
INSTRUCTIONS :
TASK 3 : EXECUTION
in this task we have to finalize and compile what we have done i started to do some adjustments to the colors for the turn around first.
i used the feedback Ms Annis give me and use more neon like color based on a photoshoot
later after the turn around, i worked on pose number 3 and started doing the lineart and color blocking for it.
im not confident in my lineart because my style is semi-painting or semi rendered and i try to color it
i haven't color like this in months because im very occupied with art direction
this is the first initial color before i slightly polished it because there we're some lines and other parts thats just looks messy. and i added some color balance and slight gradient map to adjust the color to my liking
after this i continue to refine the weapon too, it's a quick one and im learning to draw metallic too.
I compile all of my progress up until task 3 as well as the first character bible (with no model)
Presentations and PDFS :
i did the final presentation before completing the work and overall is a good to go and the only feedback i have is to add a "splash art" for the character and add the 3D model
FEEDBACK :
- I should do a Splash art to make the fullbody art "more alive"
REFLECTIONS :
Experience :
this is the shortest one for me as we just need to finish up for the character bible and compile all of the things we did for the module. overall quite a relaxing one i say
Observation :
i see that i have slightly forgot how to color like i use to since i've actually been busy with art direction project but i manage to draw it the way i wanted, except for the jacket cause i have no idea to color it
Findings :
i see that i should do some touch up before putting some of them in the PDF and so i did, it's a simple task but always look in the details of your work
